On July 4th, at the Auditorium Aurelia Congress Center, the Health & Science Conference was held, When pharmaceuticals respect nature and meet human dignity, a meeting promoted and organized by LNAge that turned its attention not only to scientific and pharmaceutical issues but also to issues of applied ethics and geopolitics.
With this opportunity for debate and comparison LNAge also wanted to present its best medical devices and functional cosmetics, not only to illustrate their effectiveness but also to point out that soon they will be increasingly promoted and widespread not only on the national market but also in the European and international scenario.
The panels of the Health & Science Conference were, in fact, the best venue also to present Switz Pharma, a new reality born on the initiative of LNAge, with the decisive contribution of other Italian companies in the chemical-pharmaceutical sector, such as, for example, IDI Group and MTF Biochemical Srl, and private subjects, which intends to promote the excellence of Made in Italy pharmaceuticals in an international context and offer a widely tested know-how that takes the form of research, development and production of drugs, medical devices, functional cosmetics and food supplements but also in consulting and marketing services.
However, what most unites the companies and subjects that have contributed to the birth of Switz Pharma is not so much and not only a wide-ranging entrepreneurial goal with wide horizons but, rather, an ethical ideal.
As Recalled by Monsignor Paolo Ricciardi, Auxiliary Bishop and Delegate of the Center for Health Pastoral Care of the Diocese of Rome, in his opening speech care is always also com-passion, suffering with the other, with the patient, recognizing oneself in his suffering and making it one's own to alleviate and heal it. It is from this yearning, as recalled by Dr. Daniele Avitabile, Product Manager of IDI Farmaceutici, that a historic group of Italian pharmaceuticals such as the Dermatological Institute of the Immaculate, born in a religious context, started its activity: to create ointments and galenic finds that could alleviate the suffering of the poor and needy of the Roman countryside.
The same convictions and the same motivations guide, today, the partners of Switz Pharma: the challenge they have accepted is to produce and bring to the European and international market high quality pharmaceutical and dermocosmetic products, formulated and developed in Italy, at prices accessible to the general public, ordinary people and the most vulnerable, such as the elderly, which, as recalled in her case study by Dr. Elena Gallinacci, Vascular Surgeon and expert in Vulnology of the INI Group of Grottaferrata, are those most subject to skin diseases, and not only.
The Health & Science Conference was, therefore, an opportunity to explain the deeply shared moral options that, for this reason, guide the daily action and entrepreneurial choices of a group of high-level professionals. An action and choices that translate into the overall objective of identifying the excellence of the Italian pharmaceutical, chemical and biotechnological sectors and putting them in common under a brand that can propose itself on the international scene with an unmistakable character whose salient features are respect for the environment and for the person, the constant search for the highest quality of process and product and the desire to reach, with this quality that the whole world recognizes in the so-called made in Italy, an audience as wide and varied as possible, to positively affect the life and future of humanity and the planet.
